Moduleo offers luxury vinyl flooring in installation families including Roots, Moods and LayRed. The right answer to a fitting or maintenance question depends on the named product and whether it is gluedown or engineered click.
What is the difference between Moduleo Roots and LayRed?
Moduleo describes Roots and Moods as gluedown systems installed onto a correctly prepared, smooth and dry substrate. LayRed uses engineered-click installation and has attached underlay in named products. They are not interchangeable fitting instructions.
Does Moduleo LayRed include underlay?
The manufacturer lists attached underlay for Blackjack Oak 22210 LayRed. Do not add extra underlay without checking the precise product and approved substrate detail.
How thick is Moduleo Blackjack Oak 22210?
The current manufacturer listing identifies this LayRed small plank as 5 mm thick and 1251 × 189 mm in format, with engineered-click fitting. Those numbers relate only to the named SKU.
Can I use Moduleo over underfloor heating?
The Blackjack Oak 22210 page lists underfloor-heating suitability up to 27°C. Confirm surface-temperature control, substrate preparation and commissioning for the exact floor and heating system.
Is all Moduleo flooring gluedown?
No. Moduleo publishes separate installation methods. Roots and Moods use gluedown, while LayRed uses a click system. Product selection should specify the intended construction before estimating labour.
Can Moduleo be installed over uneven existing floors?
LayRed is marketed as able to bridge some small surface imperfections, but this is not permission to ignore excessive unevenness, moisture or unstable substrates. Follow the installation tolerances for the named product.
Can I steam-clean Moduleo LVT?
Do not assume a steam mop is suitable. Use Moduleo’s current cleaning and maintenance guidance for the exact collection; excess heat or inappropriate chemicals may harm the installed system.
Why can Moduleo herringbone cost more than straight planks?
Directional cutting, pattern layout, edge details, waste, whole-pack ordering and additional fitter time can increase the final fitted price. Measure and plan the design rather than apply one universal waste percentage.
