Burford Twist is a wool-rich cut pile

Victoria’s Burford Twist collection is described as 80% wool, 10% polypropylene and 10% polyester melt, with 11 heathered shades. It is offered as Super 40 oz and Elite 50 oz.

Those weights may have different use and comfort characteristics. Choose the correct version and retain its specification instead of quoting only the Burford name.

Habberley Classic combines wool with Tencel

Victoria’s Habberley Classic technical sheet describes a tufted loop pile with 70% wool and 30% Tencel, 4 m/5 m widths and a carpet tog value of 1.50.

The cited sheet was issued in February 2021, so confirm the latest specification and current supply before including its figures in a customer’s final contract.

Pure & Simple Loop is another construction

The manufacturer’s Natureborn page describes Pure & Simple Loop as a 100% undyed British-wool design. Its loop texture and natural colour palette are different from a twist or Tencel-blend pile.

For pets, heavy traffic and cleaning, assess the precise pile and physical sample. Neither 100% wool nor loop construction makes it automatically appropriate for every home.

Sample texture and shade in the room

Natural wool shades, heathered twists and loop textures can look different in direct sunlight or evening light. Compare samples against timber joinery, wall finishes and neighbouring floor coverings.

Confirm the same carpet is suitable for stairs and the adjacent hallway if a continuous scheme is intended.

Calculate widths, stairs and underlay

A carpet roll may require purchased width beyond the visible floor. Plan direction, joins, patterned cuts, stairs and landings before placing the order.

Include underlay, fitting, thresholds, uplift, disposal and VAT. If underfloor heating is present, check the combined carpet and underlay tog.

Care and long-term documentation

Use the individual Victoria product’s cleaning guidance and written warranty terms. A wool-rich fibre blend must not inherit bleach-cleaning recommendations from synthetic carpeting.
