Kingsmead Carpets offers practical polypropylene ranges alongside wool loops and patterned options. The choice between Amazing, Anthology and Artistry starts with fibre and construction, then considers room suitability, stains, stairs and the fitted quantity.
Separate Amazing, Anthology and Artistry

A wool loop has a different feel, texture and cleaning regime from a synthetic easy-clean carpet. Treat these as separate design categories and inspect current manufacturer specifications before choosing.
Use Amazing Airforce as a concrete example
The Kingsmead Amazing range page lists soft colourways including Airforce, with heavy domestic suitability and use in rooms such as bedrooms, lounges, hallways and stairs. It describes the range as easy-clean polypropylene.
The published range information includes diluted-bleach cleaning under its conditions and range-specific wear and stain warranty claims. Confirm the current care procedure, exceptions and warranty edition for the ordered colour.
Compare loop patterns in context
The Anthology Archimedes reference is described in the research archive as a wool-loop carpet. Loop and stripe designs can make a hall look longer, but the orientation, pattern repeat and wear characteristics need testing against the actual room.
Where pets with claws are present, discuss snagging and pile construction with the manufacturer. A patterned loop carpet should not be recommended on visual grounds alone for every household.
Stairs change both material and labour
For a stair installation, confirm that the exact range is approved for the intended traffic. Take separate dimensions for treads, risers, winders, half-landings and open sides, and consider pattern matching where needed.
For a whole house, calculate carpet roll widths and possible reuse of suitable offcuts. A stair runner with binding or special edges needs more specific fitting labour than a standard bedroom.

Compare the same scope for each product: named range and shade, measured purchased quantities, underlay, grippers, thresholds, fitting, removal, disposal and VAT. Check minimum fitter attendance charges if only a small area is involved.
An attractive product £/m² price can lead to a different completed-job cost once roll width and cutting are considered. Make the quantities explicit in the estimate.
Keep care and warranties tied to the exact carpet
Easy-clean polypropylene claims cannot be applied to wool Anthology or every Artistry option. Follow material-specific cleaning, avoid unsuitable strong chemicals and keep the manufacturer’s written terms.
