Rowena McNee22 June 2019We recently moved into our new home. As soon as we arrived at Falkirk Floor Designs to look at flooring , Chris made us feel very welcome in his shop. Our first thoughts were - what an amazing choice and beautiful well stocked shop! Chris is very knowledgeable of his products and gives excellent advice and help when deciding what to choose. Chris gave us all the time we required, he pointed out this is important and shouldn't be rushed - take all the time you need to get it right. Chris kept in touch weekly to keep us up to date to what stage we were at, it was mainly due to our property being a new build and not having a definite move in date. I always pointed out that we were sorry to muck you around, however every time we said this, Chris would say straight away, no worries we will fit you in as soon as you receive a date. Nothing was ever a problem to him. When moving home it can be a stressful time, but Chris made us feel nothing was ever an issue and would always accommodate us. Why would you go anywhere else when you can receive excellent customer service and also support a local business at the same time. It gave us trust and peace of mind knowing we had chosen the correct company after the excellent customer service that we were experiencing at the beginning and throughout our sale. When Jason the fitter arrived, he went through everything throughly before starting the job to make sure we were happy with the way we required our flooring to look. An amazing selection - it was hard to choose, so Chris let us take a couple of boards home to try in our room. This was great because what I liked more in the shop wasn't right for the look we were going for in the room. As we were ultimately looking to floor our hall/ living/kitchen and dining in the same flooring, but with a new kitchen planned, Chris recommended ordering all at once to secure the same batch for consistent colouring throughout, but worked with us flexibly, fitting each room according to our project plan. He managed to sourced it for me. I have also had my dining room done in moduleo and I absolutely love it. Chris and Jason were meticulous about the leveling, the quality of the work is outstanding. We had to move our dates too, due to unforseen circumstances and the guys were so flexible in shuffling things to accommodate us. We opted for Karndean and the finish on the floor is amazing. I am a returning customer as my bathroom floor that was fitted 10 years ago is still like new, my en-suite was fitted to a very high standard yesterday by a very experienced installer. Dougie Henderson20 July 2020Moved into a new house and used Floor Designs for the full house for a mixture of carpets and flooring. They had a great selection of both to choose from and Chris was very helpful in helping me decide on colour and quality of carpets and type/style/colour of flooring to go with. All flooring and carpets were fitted professionally with no mess left behind. Margaret Young Blue17 July 2020We’re really pleased and delighted with the flooring in our new home, all supplied by Falkirk Floor Designs. Chris has been very attentive and kept us informed at all stages from our first enquiries, ordering and then throughout lockdown until finally laying the floorings. Jason gave us advice about the design and layout of the Moduleo as he has laid this type of flooring many times before which we found very helpful. The main area of each room is laid diagonally with a narrow strip accentuating the edges. Carpeting on the stairs and first floor bedrooms was laid by another colleague who also worked efficiently and carefully.Load more
