Our planning advice is to ask the installer to confirm the chosen route against the actual packaging, rather than proceed from the words \u201cModuleo flooring\u201d on a quotation.<\/p><\/section><section><h2>Does a click floor remove the need for preparation?<\/h2><p>No. Moduleo\u2019s rigid instructions require a stable, flat, clean and permanently dry base; attached-underlay products must not receive an extra underlay. The flexible guide also requires suitable preparation and distinguishes the tolerances of its two methods. A useful quotation explains the assumptions. It does not simply say \u201cno preparation needed\u201d without relating that conclusion to your floor.<\/p><\/section><section><h2>Arrange delivery and room conditions<\/h2><p>Both July 2026 guides specify 48 hours of acclimatisation in unopened boxes. Their temperature ranges differ: flexible LVT is 18\u201325\u00b0C; rigid click is 15\u201325\u00b0C. Check the complete conditions table and the adhesive requirements, not just the number of hours. Tell the installer about recent wet building work, heating or cooling systems and any areas with different temperatures. Do not arrange fitting around an assumed universal overnight waiting period.<\/p><\/section><section><h2>Plan fixed furniture and transitions<\/h2><p>The two guides warn against blocking a floating installation with fixed or heavy built-in objects. Ask the installer to explain the sequence and show where joints or profiles are proposed. Agree the appearance of these details before the work begins.<\/p><\/section><section><h2>What should an installation quotation include?<\/h2><ul><li>Product, format and installation method\u2014not only a brand and a square-metre rate.<\/li><li>Survey findings and the preparation included, with a process for unexpected conditions.<\/li><li>Layout, joins, thresholds, edges and accessories identified by the installer.<\/li><li>Responsibilities for furniture, uplift, disposal, access and delivery.<\/li><li>An agreed handover covering first use, furniture return and cleaning.<\/li><\/ul><p>Our comparison method is simple: place two quotations beside the same room drawing and check each item.
